Miller Planes

A crystal cleaves along flat families of lattice points called planes, named by their Miller indices (h k) — how many times the plane cuts each axis. Low indices mean dense, widely-spaced planes; that is where the crystal splits cleanest.

Press 1–5 to set h, Q W E R T to set k. Click anywhere to cleave along the current plane family.
